Moschino

I’m a huge LOVER for anything Moschino, always have and always will. So you can only imagine my delight when I found this gorgeous modern Moschino cotton blouse that has the words ALLOVER all over it. Allover isn’t that delicious? Talk about sexy ! Rossella Jardini, the creative director of Moschino, if filled with beguiling surprises – just like the fun loving Italian ready to wear label she oversees. The first thing she wants to make clear: she’s not a designer. “I am someone with many crafts, many activities, and good taste,” she explains. What she has done is transform the Moschino brand into its modern incarnation after the death of the Milan company’s founder and her great friend, Franco Moschino, from AIDS in 1994. Though she may not put pen to drawing board, she supervises a talented group of designers, window dressers, and image makers for the house. Her excellent taste transfers to her home, which one is as likely to stumble over a stuffed elephant or a giant snail pillow as an important piece by Gio Ponti, Piero Fornasetti, or FontanaArte, is just as delectable. I found this ultra sleek Emporio Armani black jacket with 3 buttons that look fantastic with this Moschino art piece. Leave it up to Amani to put a nice spin on a classic black jacket. 2 of my favorite Italian designers all within one thrift store and all within one day, I don’t know how much delight I can actually handle.
