My husband and I are putting together a fashion show for designers based within the five boroughs of NYC and are looking for designers and support on kickstarter. I have been in fashion for 15 years and came up with this idea along with our friends who run Grand Opening in the Lower East Side.
We really wanted to have a show that focuses on local talent but also gives people who normally don't have an opportunity to attend a show a way to do so.
During the week the store front will be a pop up retail shop where items from the designers will be sold and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights we will transform the space into a runway show.
