lingerie is not porn, but there are all different levels of lingerie to suit one's taste.
all lingerie is built upon fantasy, whether it's frederick's of hollywood, victoria's secret or coco de mer and agent provocateur. Just different looks and price points...all carrying the same message..sex.
and sex sells.
Hi Greetings Maryanne, Thank you for reading my post. Thats awesome !. I am Iggy and I wanted to ad that in the USA what you wrote seems to be the concept, although in Europe and other parts of the world, Lingerie is worn daily. In the USA they call it underwear and the fancy underwear is called Lingerie. I just tend to think Americans tend to over-sexualize lingerie. As a male, If i was wearing a pair of Satin boxers as opposed to my cotton boxers would there be a difference other then the fact that Satin feels much better. Would that carry the message of sex to my girlfriend if she saw my flaming red satin boxers? I think people women wear lingerie because it feels great, although I agree and your points are valid as well. Thanks for you comments that means much to me.

Kudos !

europeans see fashion quite differently from americans.
for example, a french woman will wear exquisite lingerie on a daily basis and lingerie made in france is in my opinion some of the most exquisite in the world. but shopping habits are different in europe as well.
an american is probably more geared toward consumerism, and purchasing items in multiples.
where a european will purchase one perfect item and cherish it.
so a european woman's closet will have a smaller quantity, but perhaps higher value in terms of quality.
where an american would be more geared toward trendy fashion and see it as throw away after a few seasons.
I agree Maryanne. You are very true. There is one exception. Every American women I have known including my three sisters, mom and grandma, has that " ONE" special fine bra they cherish and had spent at least over or slightly under $100.00 that is of quality. Its their favorite bra! Seems humorous to me. Many of our 1,500 products are slightly risque and fantasy like, although in the near future , we will be introducing more fine daily wear undergarments. Sensual work lingerie. You can slip them on for work and still feel chic and sensual.
I heard at one point that the Hanes lingerie website was one of the top selling websites. Hanes provides mainly standard womens underwear, more for the American women.
I wonder how Victoria Secret's works on that principle? I know the Agent Provactuer has some very fine lingerie and the material, stitching and designs are superior.

Have a great Sunday. :)

Lingerie can be really very very different. Usual underwear, which women wear daily is innocent, sometimes romantic and hot, but still it is an ordinary thing. But there is also a fetish lingerie which you can see at adult movies and webcams, it has definitely erotic subcontext.

A lot of companies use porn stars to advertise different lingerie products. These porn stars are popular and a lot of people when will see that add will think that product is good. Many companies make the add for lingerie look like porn because people like strange stuff like porn, making sex and viagra. Many of male porn stars use viagra when they film a pron scene and when they make photos for an add. It is not a really good thing, viagra, has a lot of side effects. I read here about this https://www.andrologyforum.com/sildenafil-effects-full-research/.

Thanks for sharing, Jerry.

I'm quite satisfied with lingerie webcam shows. So yes, for me it's porn. Here's a great place with cam shows btw https://www.minx.chat/
