I am 17 now and have been doing my clothing line for years, i need some help with lower costs!!!!

Hello,
my name is catura and i own catura corsa clothing. I have been jipped lately on prices and have been spending so much money on designs and shirts to be printed when i recently found out that i could be spending a lot less. I am looking for new manufacturers. I need heat transfer, sewing, and possibly screen print. I am not a very big designer yet, but i know i have a lot of potential, i just need to be pushed in the right direction. Please help!!!

search out side of the US ... depending on what you do you can get cheaper prices ... also make sure that you are getting things wholesale

Small quantity, higher prices. This is an unfortunate fact of life in any industry.

When you say shirts are you talking about heat transfer or printing on "t-shirts"? If yes, and if your quantity is very low you may want to contact corporate apparel distributors and not factories. This really depends on the quantity of your orders.

The goods news is that you now understand that you MUST shop around for pricing. Their is always a company willing to work at a lower margin. The trick is finding them.

If you plan to order directly with a factory, be carefully to be very specific when you are discussing pricing. For example, do not simply say, I want a price on your white t-shirts. If possible give the factory a size spec. Let them know the fabric weight and construction you want. Let them know if you want open end or ringspun, etc. Give as much detail as possible so that you get an accurate quote based on your actual requirements.
