Not sure specifically for handbag design software, but you can find fashion software on Apparel Search in the Technology section. You can find fashion software and you may also want to check the fashion design software page. Sorry, that I do not have a list specific to handbags. Hopef these pages help you.

have you thought of contacting central st. martins? i'm sure one of the profesors in the design department would help you.

Thanks for the resources, and no I hadnt thought of contacting St Martins. I must be in a daydream, I only walked past their front door a couple of weeks ago....I should have popped in!
