The Fashion Industries Favorite Business Network ...

I have been to a couple of fashion shows recently that have featured local designers showing off their newest styles. Cool. But then they also feature girls who have their body painted. The girls look hot, so I am not complaining. I just wondered what the correlation is, and how long it has been around? Thanks.

In the late 60's body painting became hip as an almost off-shoot from pop art.
of course sports illustrated has been using this medium to portray 'bathing suits' .

the origins of body painting go back thousands of years to tribes who did and still decorate their bodies with art.

my opinion is that a new designer should concentrate more on their apparel construction rather than presenting ' hype'.
models walking around wearing the actual apparel would be a wiser choice from a business point of view.

It's been around for years. Hugh Hefner actually made this really popular with having body painted models at his parties. Basically it helps keep peoples attention!

both are art. the aesthetic sense what it matters and the style. When you buy designer clothes, it make you  feel the style
