Do you believe in copying top designers garments for a cheaper version in the highstreet?

Hi guys, I am doing an essay on top designers such as Chloe, Jimmy Choo, etc getting their designs ripped by highstreet stores. What do you feel about this? Do you believe it's okay for them to do that or do you think it is completely wrong. Any thoughts would be much appreciated :)
