Design Homecoming Dress

Hi! My name is Lucy Smith. And today, we’re going to discuss how to design your own homecoming dress. Most girls are not talented or equipped enough to actually design and then create their own homecoming dress. So, what I’m going to suggest to you is have your creative mind ready when you shop, and then redesign a dress that’s already made. That will save you time and money. So, what we did here, this dress actually used to be long, and the chiffon used to be one piece around it, and it also used to have spaghetti straps. So, when we were thinking of what to do and how to design your own dress, we thought how cute this would be short. So, we cut it short, and then we shredded the chiffon on the overlay, because that made it a little more frilly and fun. And then, because she wanted to have a strapless dress, we actually took the spaghetti straps off.
