Where is the best place to learn about fashion?  Most likely, the best place is the Fashion Industry Network.  However, in addition to this fine resource, their are also many other fabulous fashion websites that can help you learn more about the apparel industry and fashion. 

As you may already be aware, our goal here on FIN is to "help" members of the fashion industry.  In order to achieve that goal, we believe it is important to provide access to as many fashion resources as possible.  Below are a few of the places we suggest you visit if you are eager to learn more about fashion.

Fashion - guide to fashion from Apparel Search.  By the way, if you were not already aware, Apparel1 also develops Apparel Search.

Fashion Job Search - find jobs in the fashion industry.

Style.com - a very fashionable website.  By the way, we link to them often, but I do not think that they ever have returned the favor (I could be wrong).  Anyway, the Fashion Industry Network will continue to link to them because they are a very good fashion website (even though they are silly and do not write an article about FIN...)

WWD : OK, you must have heard about WWD (Women's Wear Daily).  They are a very popular fashion newspaper (not the Fashion Newspaper) that is owned by Fairchild Fashion Group.  The WWD is part of a large media company with many resources.  With the number of employees and resources at their disposal, know kidding that they have developed a good fashion website... Shame on them if they had not developed a beneficial site with all the resources at their disposal.

Elle - they are another large company with many resources.  Elle is part of Hachete Filipacchi a large international publishing company.  Elle considers themself to be the number one fashion magazine for women.  They have experienced editors and online fashion sections including runway, hair & beauty, accessories, shopping and more.

By the way, if you want a really good fashion job, it is important to be knowledgeable regarding the fashion industry.  One way to achieve this, is to read up on the latest fashion news.  In our opinion, you really should read current fashion news each and every day.  Don't forget, fashion blogs are also a great place to read news about fashion.
